As the world's first non-profit wish-granting organization providing weddings for couples facing terminal illness and serious life-altering circumstances; a local couple was recently granted their wish in Cleveland. Through the generous donations from northeast Ohio vendors and Wish Upon A Wedding, the planning and costs were covered... making their dream wedding wish come true. It was my privilege to unite this beautiful couple in marriage. Their story is a true inspiration for all of us... offering hope, kindness, perseverance and unconditional love. A story from Brides Across America’s website: “Hugo and Any are one of our military couples who received a designer wedding gown of her dreams. Hugo is an injured soldier that is legally blind from a terrorist attack in Iraq. He was in the Walter Reed Hospital for many years and still suffers from his injuries. Any was by his side the whole time and his dream was to marry her in front of her family in Santo Domingo. His wish of marrying Any finally came true.” |
